Successful business networking is not just about developing new business leads but building long term relationships among members based on trust and confidence. Highline are active members of a number of business networking organisations including BNI Ireland, Dun Laoghaire Chamber of Commerce and Venture Business Network. Our BNI alone has more than 15,000 members in Ireland.

There is no doubt that networking is very effective in gaining introductions to decision makers and encouraging and facilitating opportunities to exchange leads and referrals but we have also found that networking helps to build our skills and knowledge through training sessions and seminars. Last Friday, we attended a great Linkedin training session run by Rosey Broderick of Webresults which was organised by Venture The Business Network.

Networking however does take time and commitment and it is important to be an active member of your networking group. Getting involved and contributing to your
network, not only creates awareness of your business but helps you to get to know other group members and link into their knowledge and skills, leaving you and your business well positioned for the challenges ahead.

We are very pleased to announce that we have expanded our team here at Highline Technology over the past few months.

Eoin Murphy has joined as National Account Manager to lead and develop our sales team. Eoin brings a wealth of experience in sales management and a strong customer service focus ensuring we continue to offer the high levels of service that our clients have come to expect.

In addition our sales team has grown with the appointment of Peter Evans and Joss Heffernan as Account Managers. Peter and Joss will focus on managing our existing customers as well as developing and growing new business throughout Ireland.

Finally, Rosemary McGarry has joined us as Marketing Executive, with responsibility for all online and offline marketing activities. Rosemary brings experience in a range of industries and will work closely with our sales team in developing and implementing our marketing plans.

Despite being established less than two years ago and the difficult trading environment of recent times, Highline Technology has continued to grow and develop and we aim to generate a number of new roles across all disciplines as the company continues to expand.

Brian McDonnell, Highline Sales Director says “Over the next two years we intend to employ another 40 people between or sales & marketing and service departments across Highline Technology and our Stationery365.ie brand”.

Online meetings using Lync with Office 365
